In the early 1900s, a cadre of leading families in Greensboro, North Carolina, set out to embrace a sophisticated lifestyle of the past in an exciting new way - a planned residential community that incorporated a country club and a popular new pastime - golf. They named their new neighborhood "Irving Park." Today, gracious Colonial, Classical, and Tudor revival homes sit like jewels amidst a leafy setting of tree-canopied streets and undulating terrain.
